Easily drive you Nixie tubes with your Arduino using this IC.

Practical Information:

To wire up this IC to your Arduino, you'll need to connect pins A,D,B and C to the IO pins of your microcontroller of choice, and VCC to 5V.

You can connect the remaining output pins to the cathode pins on your nixie tube.

To power the nixie tube simply connect your 170V power supply to the anode of your Nixie tube (with a 10K resistor between) and you're ready to control your nixie tube with a microcontroller.

You can set different numbers by toggling between High and Low on the A,B,C and D pins according to this truth table:
